Itinerary

Day 1:

AIR & ROAD TRIP TO SODWANA
Check-in at OR Thambo International Airport flight departing for Durban. Flight time is approximately 1 hour.
Meet and assisted to transfer to Sodwana, serving water and snacks on board the luxury coach.
Rest of day and evening at leisure.

Day 2 - Day 7:

SODWANA DIVING
Check in at the dive shop on arrival - confirm dive times, sort out rental equipment (if renting), sign indemnity forms - please do not forget to bring diving certification.
In the mornings you will be transferred to the beach where you will meet under the Scuba Centre Gazebo at least half an hour before launch time.
One of the "beach hands" will assist you to kit up and will look after your equipment for the duration of your stay.
Sodwana has various reefs to visit. The reefs vary in size and are named by their distance from the launch site. All are extremely beautiful with abundant fish life and many of them are so large that you can dive a different area of the same reef on each dive! The visibility on the reefs ranges daily and can be anything up to 40 metres, with average visibility of 10-15 metres.

Day 8 - Day 9:

HLUHLUWE BIG 5 GAME EXPERIENCE
Early transfer to Hluhluwe, Leopard Game Lodge. Leopard Game Lodge is a natural heritage site set in a 23 000ha private game reserve of pristine wilderness located between Hluhluwe and Mkuze Game Reserves within easy reach of Ndumo, Kosi Bay, Sodwana, Lake Sibaya and the St Lucia wetlands.
3 Game activities (2 game drives and one walk to the hide) will take you through unspoiled bushveld, well-stocked with black and white rhino, buffalo, elephant, lion, leopard, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, waterbuck, impala, nyala, kudu, warthog, ostrich etc.
Night game drives are an optional extra activity and are not included in the trip fee as the last game drive of the day ends in darkness.

Day 10 - Day 11:

DURBAN SHOPPING
Early transfer to Umhlanga / Durban where you will be giving 2 days at leisure to shop at the Gateway shopping centre, or on the Durban marine parade! You will stay at the beautiful Royal Palm Hotel in Umhlanga, near the King Shaka airport.

Day 12:

TIME TO HEAD HOME
Transfer and assist to King Shaka Airport to check in for your flight departing for Johannesburg.
Flight time is approximately 1 hour.
Arrive at OR Tambo for your connecting flight back home.
